Melissa Simpson

Hello, i am Melissa, a busy mother of three girls, in 2016 i decided to take the big step into the world of a childminder.

Over the last few years, i have been devoting my spare time to expanding my knowledge on child development through courses such as my level 3 diploma in Early Years.

I have also successfully completed my Paediatric First aid training and safeguarding training and my Level 2 in Food Hygiene.

As a parent, I am well aware of the demands and responsibilities involved in caring for children. I have no doubt that the experiences that I have already with bringing up my own children help me in my role as a Nursery Assistant and Manager.

I am a very creative person, I love to incorporate this into my work, I always try to reach outstanding in all that I do and value a close working relationship with all children's parents to ensure each child receives the best possible care.

Natalie Berney

Hello, I am Natalie, a busy mummy to Eloise, I started working for Teddy Bears Childcare in January 2023. Transferring from a different setting to be a Nursery Practitioner in the Polar bear room.

I've recently taken on the challenge of becoming Deputy Manager at Teddy Bears, this is a role i feel very passionate about and look forward to helping Teddy Bears continue to grow and develop.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my Husband Conor going on family days out and weekends away camping.

I have successfully completed my Paediatric First aid training and my Level 3 Childcare Qualification and i look forward to continuing with my professional development and taking on new courses to further my knowledge.

I am a very happy and motivated person who loves getting to know each and every child who attends our setting, I always try my hardest to ensure all parents are happy with the care we as a team offer and try to provide a safe and loving environment as I believe children thrive and grow best when they are safe and happy.
