The Polar Bear Room provides a warm, home-from-home environment where children feel safe, secure, and supported as they grow. At this stage, children begin to develop their independence, form friendships, and gain a stronger sense of self.

We follow each child’s individual care routines to ensure consistency and comfort. The room features an open role-play kitchen area, where children can enjoy imaginative play while learning valuable life skills in a fun and engaging way.

Throughout the day, children participate in a mix of adult-led activities and child-led play, helping them build confidence, develop communication skills, and foster independence. They also progress through the seven areas of learning, which include:

The room also offers direct access to our outdoor play area, where children can enjoy fresh air and engage in a variety of activities, including sand and water play, supporting their exploration and development.
